To fully realize the principles set forth in the Detroit Declaration, we need leaders in Detroit and Lansing who are committed to creating a stronger, healthier city.
To that end, we encourage all signers to not just VOTE in the primary on August 7, but to support candidates in your community who share these values by volunteering and donating to their campaigns.
In Detroit, we encourage you to support two people who have demonstrated their commitment to our principles:
- Adam Hollier (4th District)
- Scott Benson (1st District)
We ask all signers to commit a minimum of 3 volunteer hours and $10 contribution to each campaign. Follow our Facebook page for events and opportunities to meet the candidates and get involved.

We also encourage you to support ballot initiatives aligned with the Declaration:
